Savory Downtown

I called several times to inquire about catering for my wedding - each time I spoke to a woman who took my name and number and just would not call me back. Then I called to speak to the owner. I was told the manager would call me back but the woman I spoke to earlier called me back. Never got the manager or owner on the phone. Honestly, it was like a twilight zone experience. What small business doesn't want the money. Horrible customer service, PR and sales skills. We can do so much better than this, really.

Great food, prices and staff!

Was in the Empire Ballroom as a Vendor for an event. Set up on Friday night was seamless. Arrived on Saturday to discover that NONE of the ceiling lights in my end of the room would turn on! They tried to tell me that "those lights never work, besides, the room has a display screen at that end so lights aren't needed." When I said the lights worked fine the night before they looked at me like I had 2 heads.They brought in some lamps and actually wanted to put one in the center of my display, leaving me no place to sit! I declined. The room is open and very spacious with a temporary bar on one wall that wasn't used by us.
